Upcoming English Comedy Shows

Copenhagen Expat Comedy

Almost Danes’ Anniversary

In April, ALMOST DANES stand-up show turned two years. On the 21st April 2023, Kriti, Ulug and Adrian did the first show thinking it would be once-a-year hobby. It turned into a monthly show because people kept buying tickets.

In 2023-2024, they did 16 shows of ALMOST DANES around Denmark

In 2025, they are doing ALMOST DANES 2, because they couldn’t come up with a more creative name. 4 shows sold-out so far, and there are two more in the pipeline:

5 June (Thu) - Comedy Zoo: Tickets
4 July (Fri) - Knock Knock Comedy Club: Tickets

If you haven’t seen ALMOST DANES 2, it’s your only chance until the autumn. If you haven’t seen ALMOST DANES 1 - you missed it. If you don’t know what it’s about or don’t know what the hell we are talking about, this is a snippet from the show: YouTube Link

Ulug Bek (Uzbekistan) is a data analyst by day and a comedian by night. With his deadpan humour, he makes hilarious observations about his life in Denmark, Danish work culture, its excellent work-life balance and questionable food. Ulug has performed at festivals in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.

Kriti Prajapati (India) is an engineer by mistake and a comedian by choice. Kriti has a quirky sense of humor and she has accumulated a fair share of cultural shock experience in Denmark. Kriti has performed in Denmark, Sweden, India and Netherlands.

Adrian Mackinder (UK) is a show host. He is professional comedian, improvisor, actor, author and would-be diabetic. He is one of the best MCs in the country.

New Show from Kriti Prajapati

Kriti is doing a test show for her new solo stand up MY (LOW) FAT INDIAN WEDDING. It's a work-in-progress show - just like her marriage. Kriti is happily married; she's just not sure about her husband. Will they be happy ever after? Come find out…

26 May (Mon) - No Stress Bar (Nørreport): Tickets
